Hey friends!!  Well much goodness has been happening in  the world of Krystle Dos Santos including a little tour in BC for the Whistler Film Festival where we travelled through to Vancouver, Victoria, Cumberland and Satlt Spring Island!  Also, I am working on my new album and in Studio starting January 15, 2010!!  I have posted a ton of pictures on my myspace (www.myspace.com/krystledossantosmusic) and you can follow my daily debaucheries on my twitter (Krystlemuzak). I was so kindly invited to sing a few songs for some grade 7 & 8 girls today by the YWCA at an amazing conference called The Power of Being A Girl.  What an incredible time I had, its so great to know that programs like this exist for young girls!!  Take a look at the pictures section for a little pic to show you what it was all about :-)

Krystle Dos Santos WINS Western Canadian Music Award - Urban Recording of the Year 2009!!!

The WCMA awards were held this year in Brandon, MB, we drove 11 hours there and 11 hours home...but it was worth every minute! We saw some amazing bands who showcased including Hey Ocean!, Laura Smith, We Were Lovers, Adaline, Dan Mangan & so many more. Our showcase on Saturday Night was rocking and the industry after party on Sunday night was so incredible (HUGE jam session with so many amazing musicians from other amazing bands!!)  Anyways...an amazing weekend at the very least!  Also, check out my newly redesigned MySpace page, looking real shnazzy!

KRYSTLE DOS SANTOS - nominated for a WCMA in the Outstanding Urban Recording Category!!!

So...I will therefore be at the WCMA's being held in Brandon, Manitoba from September 18-20.  I will also be bringing my awesome new band to Showcase on Saturday Sept. 19 at Houston's as well as a short collaboration on Saturday afternoon with Dragonfly Empire during a conference.

Hope to see you there, or return home victoriously to brag about my award (*finger's are crossed*)

Although I have been back for about a week and a half from the tour, I have been so busy (aka lazy) to update my adventures!!  I have posted tons of tour pics in the Photo section and as well, I'm sure if you google "Krystle Dos Santos", you will see many of the press clipping that were so kind to write about me and my band on tour!

Well, the time has finally arrived and I shall embark upon my very first tour tomorrow (July 9) starting in Banff, AB!  I hope to see new and maybe some old fans come out, I'm so excited to share my music with Western Canada!! Check out where I'll be in the Calendar section or on my MySpace Page!  Also, I will have some awesome new Krystle Dos Santos merchandise available on the tour including American Apperal t-shirts and some fresh new tote bags!!

I just wanted to give a shout out to an amazing few photographers who have been so amazing and generous to me in the last couple weeks...I had an amazing natural photoshoot with the lovely Katya Nova (www.katyanovablog.com), you can have a sneak peak of some of those shots on her website.
